A servicing-system transition begins with a clear picture of the records you already have. Before discussing an import, identify where the current information lives and who is responsible for reviewing it.
Start with the source records.
List the systems and files that hold borrower details, loan agreements, current terms, balances, schedules, fees, payment history, and documents. If the same information appears in several places, identify the source your team considers authoritative.
Decide which history needs to move.
An opening balance alone does not explain an account. Discuss which transactions, servicing notes, documents, and dates must remain available after the transition. Confirm supported formats and any data that needs separate treatment.
Review exceptions early.
Identify missing fields, inconsistent borrower names, duplicate accounts, unusual terms, and transactions that are still being reviewed. Bring these issues into the migration discussion before importing records.
Agree how the results will be checked.
Choose a clear starting date and determine who will compare the imported records with the approved source. Review starting balances, schedules, and selected account histories before relying on the new workspace for servicing.
Plan access alongside the records.
Confirm who will administer the organization, which team members need access, and how borrower invitations will be handled. Online payment setup may require a separate onboarding and approval process.
Talk with the Roboloan team.
Tell us how many loans you service, where the records are stored, and which history you need to retain. We will discuss the migration options available for your organization. Use sample or redacted records for the initial conversation.
